Every story has more than one way of being understood…
-
Every song begins somewhere.
Sometimes it begins as a melody.
Sometimes it begins as a sentence written years before you understand why it mattered.
Sometimes it begins in the space between what happened and what you are finally ready to say about it.
For me, that space became the between series.
It began with the quiet between us, but it has grown into something larger; an evolving collection of songs, stories, acoustic recordings, warehouse reinterpretations, and visual works exploring the emotional space we carry through love, loss, memory, identity, grief, and renewal.
These songs are not only about endings.
They are about what lives between them.
-
So much of life happens in the spaces we don’t know how to name.
Between loving someone and losing them.
Between truth and silence.
Between who we were and who we are becoming.
Between the version of a relationship we hoped for and the one we actually lived.
This is where these songs live.
Not in certainty.
Not in easy answers.
In the threshold.
In the echo.
In the quiet.
In the space where something has changed, but the meaning of that change is still becoming clear.
-
the quiet between us began as an attempt to understand emotional distance.
The kind that does not always arrive loudly.
Sometimes it grows slowly.
A hesitation.
A silence.
A room that feels different.
A conversation that almost happens but does not.
At first, I thought I was writing about the end of a relationship. Over time, I realized I was writing about the invisible architecture of disconnection: the things left unsaid, the versions of ourselves we hide, and the quiet ways two people can drift apart while still standing close enough to touch.
The album does not ask listeners to choose a villain.
It asks what happens when love is real, but understanding begins to fail.
-
The warehouse versions are not simply remixes.
They are alternate emotional realities.
The acoustic and original recordings ask the listener to sit with a feeling.
The warehouse versions ask what happens when that feeling becomes movement.
Grief becomes rhythm.
Memory becomes pulse.
Collapse becomes architecture.
Reconstruction becomes sound.
These versions take the same emotional material and rebuilt it inside darker, larger, more physical spaces — industrial textures, cinematic synths, pounding rhythms, and atmospheres that feel less like escape than transformation.
They are not designed to erase the vulnerability of the originals.
They are designed to carry it somewhere else.
-
If the quiet between us is about the silence that forms while something is ending, the echo between us is about what remains afterward.
An echo is not the original voice.
It is what distance does to a voice after it has already left.
That idea became the emotional center of the next chapter: memory, reflection, gratitude, grief, and the strange realization that some things continue to live inside us long after they are over.
These songs are less about trying to save what is lost and more about learning what to do with what stayed.
A scent.
A room.
A shape someone left in you.
A part of yourself that never fully came back.
A sky that opens anyway.
-
Not every story changes because of what was said.
Some change because of what wasn’t.
the voices between us is the next chapter in the between series, currently in development. While the earlier chapters explore silence, memory, and the echoes after relationships change, this collection turns its attention to the conversations that never happened — the words we rehearsed in private, the questions we never asked, and the truths we discovered only after the moment had passed.
Rather than re-writing the past, these songs imagine the emotional landscape of what might have been spoken. They explore vulnerability, regret, courage, and the quiet hope that sometimes finding our voice — even too late — can still change how we understand our story.
The first two songs from this chapter, what if i had found the words and the hallway still exists, are available now as pre-release singles, offering an early glimpse into the direction this chapter is taking. As the collection continues to evolve, additional songs will be released, gradually revealing another perspective within the ever-growing between series.

I do not make these songs because I have answers.
I make them because I have questions that would not leave me alone.
How do we love someone and still lose them?
How do we hold gratitude and pain in the same body?
How do we honor what was beautiful without pretending it did not hurt?
How do we become ourselves again after someone else helped shape who we became?
I do not thing music has to solve those questions.
Sometimes it is enough for music to make room for them.
-
I hope listeners find something recognizable.
Not necessarily my story.
Their own.
Maybe a song brings back someone they loved.
Maybe it gives language to something they never knew how to say.
Maybe it helps them grieve.
Maybe it helps them forgive.
Maybe it simply lets them sit with a feeling without rushing to fix it.
That is that the between series means to me.
It is not a single album, and it is not a closed story.
It is an ongoing exploration of the spaces between people, between endings and beginnings, between silence and echo between collapse and reconstruction, between who we were and who we are still becoming.
Thank you for listening.
Thank you for entering the space between.
