A Place You've Never Known

There are moments in life when everything changes at once.

A new address. New keys. New routines. A new chapter you never expected to be writing alone.

A Place You've Never Known was inspired by the experience of moving into a home that held no shared memories, no history, and no trace of a relationship that had shaped so much of my life. Yet despite the fresh start, the echoes remained.

Not because the other person had ever been there.

Because grief, love, memory, and hope have a way of moving with us.

This quiet piano ballad explores the strange contradiction of feeling someone's absence in a place they've never seen, never touched, and never known. It's a song about starting over, carrying the pieces that still matter, and discovering that healing isn't about forgetting... it's about learning where to place what remains.

If you've ever stood alone in a new room after a major life change and wondered why the past still felt so close, I hope this song reminds you that you're not alone.
